ICC/NAFED Certification Program Begins

As of January 1, 2009, the ICC/NAFED Certification Program has been fully up and running. NAFED will no longer be administering portable fire extinguisher and pre-engineered systems technician exams and all testing and registration for those exams will now be handled through the ICC.

The original NAFED certification program was initiated in 2003 and has seen around 2300 technicians successfully certified. It's been a good run and the ICC, with their testing expertise, will continue to raise the bar for the industry.

Please visit the ICC's information page to find out how to sign up and prepare for the ICC/NAFED certification exams.
